The hotel felt like a perfect hide-away to relax at Sun Moon Lake. The breakfast was the best one we had during our whole travel in Taiwan and the lake view from the room was incredible. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sun Moon Lake.
No particular cons. The hotel was a small walk away from the main town area which can be a disadvantage for some people. To us it just made the hotel feel more peaceful.

Good location, less than 10mins walk to Shiushe pier via lake walkway. Attentive staff, easy check in / out process. Simple but filling breakfast. Nice private lakeside balcony for breakfasts

excellent hospitality from Steve the elderly caretaker.
even kept my breakfast for me past the breakfast time since I went to ride around the lake
lacks charging points. and English on remote controls which causes a lot of issues in adjusting the temperature or even television channels
