Manoir de la Malartrie

EVERYTHING! The location, the views, the staff, the rooms, the gardens, the proximity to a few towns and fantastic restaurants and finally THE BREAKFAST!!

The whole property is exquisitely cared for, tastefully decorated with a gorgeous breakfast room, and provides numerous places on the grounds to relax, swim, sun yourself and enjoy the superb view. Our Quadruple Room with Bath was perfect for my adult daughter and me, with a door in between the two very spacious bedrooms, a huge bathroom with walk-in shower, and separate toilet. But even surpassing all that was the sumptuous buffet breakfast. It didn't come with our booking.com reservation so we ordered it directly, ahead of time, and thoroughly enjoyed the variety all 3 mornings of our stay. Being able to park our rental car in their lot and walk into town for meals and to shop was also a plus. The owners were also friendly and gracious. This stay was a highlight of our trip.

The steps were not a problem for us, but they might be for some.

Everything. The most magical place! The property is absolutely stunning but what stands out is the care and love put in every single detail. The rooms were spacious, pristine with all the best amenities and products. The highlight is the breakfast, from amazing croissants and cakes to the fresh vegetables, you’re spoilt of choice. I’ve travelled all around the world and been in 5/4 stars hotels that were not at the same standard of Manoir de la Malartrie. 10 out of 10!

The setting and presentation of the accommodation was lovely. The host was very friendly and efficient. The grounds and pool were idyllic. It was a short walk to the village and restaurants.

Breakfast was an optional addition and very expensive at €29 per person. Cheaper to walk into the village.
