Truly an unique experience! If you like serenity and want to be fully immersed in the beautiful terrace and traditonal ifugao housing, this is the place to stay. The owner organized free tricycle pickup, so it's convenient to get there. The place is about 20-30mins walk to banaue town( I don't mind walking ,also there is short cut stairs to the main road through the neighbor's yard, just ask for permission first, making it very close to the view point, but u can always hire the tricycle) There are 9 huts in total, the higher it gets, the better view you got, but also meaning a bit more stairs up the hill, so not too suitable for heavy luggage. Even though it's a traditonal hut, everything is still neat and convenient , separate shower and toilet close to the hut( rememebr cold shower is norm here in philippines, electricity, wifi,and restaurant owned by a nice family at the foot of the hill( 3mins walk), offering grandma warming meal with great portion and good price. I know most people choose to stay in the town area or go straight to batad. But this is a stop you won't regret.

The traditional houses are well maintained and situated in a superb location; the view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking. We are grateful to have experienced staying in a traditional house in Ifugao.

The location is amazing, so is the experience of staying in an authentic native house. The elderly Po is an amazing person to talk to. She and one of her grandsons went out of their ways to help me every time I sought their help. Likewise, the Po who runs the restaurant was also amazing. She makes amazing pancit (rice noodles), and is an excellent person to talk to.

SCAM ALERT! What ruined the experience for me was my interaction with Mr. Art who messaged me via Booking.com prior to my arrival. He offered me a day trip to the Batad terraces for 5900Php on a tricycle (that's right). He was so pushy, and even wanted me to transfer the money before I arrived. Luckily, I declined, and after my arrival, I managed a day trip via someone else for just 1600 Php, that too on a comfortable Jeepney with a professional guide. Also, Art charged me 300 php to pick me up from the bus station at 3x the original cost of 100 php.
