I was most worried about finding the place and checking in after reading other reviews. I received a message on the day as promised and the building was easily marked with a sign on the facade. It was a bit daunting fiddling with a lockbox in case I got the wrong room but no issue there. The room was pretty huge for the price I paid, with a kitchen and sofa with TV. I arrived late so was actually quite pleased for the bar out front for a nightcap before going to sleep. Bed might be a little small for a couple but was plenty spacious just for me. Water pressure in the shower was amazing! And hot hot hot.

There was some mould in the grouting in the shower…who cares really for one night; it didn’t smell. I’m not a huge fan of staff-less accommodations, especially when arriving late. I’ll concede that’s just the world we live in. It did make me nervous but I managed fine but I can understand how some people might find this difficult.

Location

The bathroom was also extremely small; it was difficult to enter it facing forwards, and we had to go in sideways because there was so little space.

This is a quirky little place in a great location. The decor is a bit odd but the apartment has everything you need. I have stayed here several times previously in several of the units. The last one I stayed in has the top floor apartment. Next time I will request any apartment but that one. All the others are very nice.

The top apartment is the worst choice of all the units.

Close to cathedral and shops

Beds super basic, bathroom dirty, sketchy location with some worrying types hanging around in front of the door downstairs day and night. Not the fault of the property but a factor nonetheless
