Summer Island Maldives

The area is truly astonishing. The place is beautiful. The coral reef and snorkeling areas around the island are better than expected. The entire island is very green with shade everywhere, which is needed. Facilities and staff are really good. Staff are friendly and go above and beyond with service. Who truly made our trip memorable was Jaywal from the restaurant and Pradesh from the bar, they really did do a lot of effort to make this trip one to remember.

A few things to mention: 1- The shop on the Island is very limited. Remember sunscreen, after-sun, emergency kit of plasters, bug spray, earbuds and so forth. Average things that you might forget they do not stock. 2- Transport needs to be confirmed and make sure that they stick to agreed times. Seeing as we waited an hour and a half at the airport when arriving and left two hours before the agreed time when traveling back to the airport. 3- Bring cash to tip the staff. This was not communicated beforehand and they do not allow tip payments unless it is cash. This would have been nice to know before getting to the island and should have been communicated by email. 4- For the beach access villas I would suggest a method to keep sand out of the rooms. There is not a mat in front of the doors or something to shake sand off before entering. 5- I would suggest looking for an all-inclusive package especially for the Maldives seeing as activities are quite pricey, food and drink costs do add up. Not only that but a 10% service charge and 17%THST are added to your total bill, making all-inclusive a better option overall. 6- Keep in mind the check in and check out is quite timely. So prepare to wait a while.

Beautiful peaceful island not to far from male clean white sand beaches steps away from room lots of lush trees blocking ocean view staff accommodated for sea view thank you and Delicious food more for serenity relaxation and recommended for couples vs solo the spa was absolutely amazing

I loved the property would recommend on services to be more detailed description such as meals included with water only no soft drinks less approaches to sell while guest are enjoying meals - I saw many guest frown upon this while eating With confusion I give discount pay this pay that minimal entertainment at least during my days of stay although the band was great the 1 night overall I enjoyed my 3 nights

Amazing views, good food, cleaning of the room twice a day, pleasant personnel

Noisy neighbours made the value of money paid twice less. I informed the staff of the noise from next villa on the day of my arrival, in 5 days nobody followed up with me to check if I was satisfied with my stay after I raised the complaint. I don't even know if anyone from the staff ever spoke to my neighbours. To my surprise, during check-out, nobody even asked how my stay was, so I had to bring it up myself. The staff was clearly not interested in listening to my complaints, so nothing changed. All I ever heard from them was a generic 'I will inform...' Furthermore, upon check-in, I was given absolutely no information regarding what was available to me. Even though it was my first time booking a water villa, it felt as if I was just supposed to know what privileges and benefits come with it.
