Domaine de La Brave

A most welcoming and charming host who looked after us most attentively with delicious breakfasts served each morning. Our room was large and tastefully decorated with a lovely en suite bathroom. Recommendations for places to eat were very handy and we enjoyed restaurants nearby in St Didier and Venasque.

It was just a shame that the pool was too cold for a swim. A little heating would be worthwhile in our opinion.

My husband and I stayed at the accommodation for a week and had a wonderful time. The property is truly beautiful, exceptionally well-maintained, and offers breathtaking views everywhere, whether from the pool, the breakfast terrace, or the shared kitchen. It’s very clean, and housekeeping comes every day to keep it fresh and tidy. A highlight for us was the lovely shared kitchen. Plus, there are only four rooms, so it’s very private and quiet. Breakfast is freshly prepared and served every morning, and there’s always a variety of options, including delicious crepes and French toast. There are also several excellent restaurants within walking distance in the small neighboring towns. Overall, the location in Provence is perfect for short day trips. Places like Roussillon and Gordes can be reached in under 40 minutes. Others, like Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, are just 15 minutes away. The best thing about the whole place, however, is the host, Shannon. She is extremely friendly, accommodating, and incredibly easy to reach. Her restaurant recommendations were all 10/10, and she always had suggestions for activities and parking. You could easily spend two weeks there. We’ll definitely be back and are very grateful for the wonderful time we had.
