Lantana Guest House

The guesthouse is in an excellent location, close to the beach and harbour, nice restaurants nearby. The room was large and comfortable, well designed with excellent amenities. Just things like the TV working easily and full sized mugs and kettle for tea made the stay so much nicer. John and Sandra were great hosts, easy to communicate with, with good advice and always very friendly. They really made the place.

Nothing to dislike really, the bathroom was a little on the small side compared to the rest of the room, but with the constraints of these old buildings there is nothing that could be done about that and it didn’t impact us greatly.

I booked this beautiful hotel for my brother and sister in laws They had the most amazing time, their room the decor was modern and spotlessly clean The breakfast was fresh and delicious We have even booked to go next year and we can wait

Everything was perfectv

We stayed to go to the Northern Soul event on the Esplanade. This was our first ever stay in a guest house and it was really enjoyable. On arrival, we were met by John who was so welcoming and my husband really appreciated the cold beer after our long drive. We knew it very close to the beach but the location overlooking the harbour too was a real unexpected bonus. The room was very well appointed and immaculately clean. Sandra cooked a great breakfast each morning, with gluten free sausage that she did especially for me, a real treat. We had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water watching the 'pirates'. All in all a really great stay. HIghly recommend.
