Grand Kata VIP - Kata Beach

The location is great, daily housekeeping, helpful staff, nice but small gym. I stayed in this apartment directly with Grand Kata VIP but I also stayed in one of their apartments which was individually managed by a private individual. The one by Grand Kata VIP directly massively surpassed the other, so I highly recommend.

I didn't eat breakfast so can't comment. If I were being picky, I didn't like that for deliveries I had to go down. In other hotels, laundry delivery or food delivery companies could come upstairs. In this case, it made me not want to order delivery because by the time I went to reception for collection of items I could just have easily gone outside to a food or laundry place as they were literally just outside.

I absolutely loved my stay at Kata Beach in Phuket! The apartment was great and had everything we needed. The service was also excellent, whenever I asked for something, such as beach towels, someone would bring them up very quickly. The breakfast was delicious, and one thing I really appreciated was that we stayed for five days and the Asian food selection changed every day, so there was always something different to try. The breakfast staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming. The pool was great, the gym was useful, and the location was perfect as everything was within walking distance. I also really appreciated how flexible the staff were for example, we were allowed to take our unfinished coffee from breakfast back to our room, which was such a nice touch. Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it. Just FYI, there is a security deposit to pay at check-in, but you get it back at the end of your stay.

Nothing major. The only thing is that the living room furniture felt a little less modern than the rest of the apartment. This is really just a personal preference though and didn’t affect my stay at all.

That I couldn’t stay longer, that I arrived late due to flight issues, I couldn’t enjoy the amazing free room upgrade for longer. 😅

The location was great very close to everything, 7-11 was just 2 mins away

We got a room with no view facing the wall. Inside was always very dark.
