Entry instructions were quite late and a little confusing

We liked the closeness to the city that we could walk. The courtyard was private and pretty. The check in process was very smooth. The apartment was clean and tidy, everything you needed, fully equipped. Very roomy, lovely decor. Small thoughtful touches, such as coffee and shampoo etc. Worked perfectly for our trip to lytham festival and seeing friends.

The host was lovely and very accommodating when we contacted him. The place was clean and tidy and had all we needed for the purpose of our stay.

The location and facilities were very good.

Unfortunately there was a strong smell of damp in the property. It was very unpleasant. I told the owners on arrival and they said they would look into it. It was fairly late when I arrived so stayed the night but it was not nice with the smell. In the morning I found snail trails all over my boots that I had left in the kitchen. I was on a course and supposed to be staying 3 nights so messaged the owners in the afternoon and it was obvious they had not meant they would look into anything whilst I was there at least. Therefore I had to leave and find other accommodation for the other nights. It was a shame as the place had everything else I needed and I brought a lot of luggage and food with me, so was a pain to move accommodation. I hope they can find the route of the issue and resolve.
