Palazzo Scamozzi

The breakfast options were varied and healthful. Croissants and caffe were outstanding. The location was on the main walking path to the attractions in Vicenza. The staff were helpful to recommend dining options and locations nearby

The room was noisy due to the main street. Shower took time to adjust the temperature. Nothing else was troubling to us.

We were not completely satisfied with our stay at Palazzo Scamozzi. The name suggests a historic palace, but in reality only the entrance gate and the façade recall that heritage. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, we felt the price we paid was far too high for what was offered. At €260 per night, we expected rather more. The hotel is advertised as a boutique hotel, but our room was fairly standard and certainly not spacious. Even a bottle of water came at an extra charge. There is no bar and no common lounge area. The breakfast room was rather dark, and the breakfast buffet consisted of sweet items only.

Great central location. Breakfast ok. Bed comfortable.

The room had a moldy smell. Every time someone flushed a toilet or showered upstairs it felt like the water was rushing through my walls. So loud. Found hairs on a towel. Also the hallway was roo noisy because of all the hard surfaces.
