December Hoi An Villa

We had a wonderful stay at December Villa! The staff were warm and friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our room was very spacious, with excellent air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. Everything felt clean and well cared for, including the mattress, pillows and duvet. The bathroom was beautiful and comfortable to use, and the towels were fresh, clean and in excellent condition.

The only small downside was the lack of storage for clothes. There was no wardrobe to put our clothes in, and only five hangers were provided. With so much space available, the room could benefit from some additional furniture. More storage, a larger, more comfortable sofa, a coffee table and a large full-length mirror would make it even more practical and inviting. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Thuyet and Linh at reception are absolutely amazing ladies. You cannot ask for better with these two ladies at the front desk. Upon arrival at the hotel I had sweat dripping off me as a result of the heat. Thuyet immediately got me a glass of cold water lemon juice followed by a glass of cold water. Lihn in the meantime turned on the airconditioner at reception for me. The booking was seamless. At the time of leaving Linh called my preferred taxi for me on my behalf. These two ladies are an absolute credit to this hotel. The cleaning lady as well as the chef (breakfast cook) also deserve a word of praise. Well done to all the staff at December Villa Hotel Hoi An!!!

Having travelled with a case or two, it was not easy carrying this up the steps to the room as there is no lift at the hotel. Luckily I was only one floor up. Also, the lack of a fresh supply of water every morning was duly noted. This was the first time I was not offered a basic water replacement every morning at a hotel in all my travels.

We had a spacious room with nice view of the pool. The bikes, check if the work before you leave.

The bathroom was a bit small in comparison of the room. You could not exit the shower if the door was open. Bit noisy with the dog barking in the night.
