I loved that Maine Idyll Motor Court felt like a real little Maine cabin, not just another place to sleep. I had my own porch with cute chairs, trees all around me, wood floors, a kitchenette, and enough space to unpack, breathe, and feel settled. The location was great too — I loved the little hiking path right across from the property. It had that simple, old-school Maine vacation feel where nothing needs to be fancy because the whole point is that it feels easy, quiet, and real.
There really wasn’t anything I strongly disliked. This is not a luxury hotel, so go in expecting a simple cabin stay, not polished resort vibes. But for what it was — quiet, comfortable, charming, and easy — it worked really well for me.

The location was perfectly situated between Freeport & Brunswick.
Friendly staff (Todd) and dog friendly.
Adorable little cabins nestled in the trees.
The property is situated between 2 highways.The noise was a low hum and by 11pm much quieter.
It was a non-issue for us.
One of the mattresses needed to be replaced.

The area was cute, loved being in our own little space.
It was not cleaned well. Cobwebs, there was hardened cough drops on the comforter of one of the beds. We were told breakfast was available and we showed up early enough only to find one item left.
