We had a fantastic host who was very responsive with before trip jitters and questions I had concerning odd things like WiFi and guest number changes as we had family coming and going during the time we were there. The house was VERY “homey” with a welcoming feel. The games, toys, and outdoor game options were a HIT with our littles. The ONLY thing that caused a littlr issur was that my son in law and husband couldn’t catch any fish on the dock but that was based on their skill challenges and NOT the home!! It’s close to so things but far enough away to not feel bombarded by busy roads in the subdivision area. Small “beach” area walking distance from the home with small area of sand and great for kids as it’s small but they can certainly enjoy the water and play in sand. Extremely well stocked kitchen with all tools needed to cook anything you could think of. Outdoor grill required some grease trap cleaning and we were happy to do that because there was just sooooo many appliances and kitchen accessories available to our family chef to cook our crabs, steaks, and lemongrass pork. 100% recommend!

Three sisters and our husbands, all seniors, had our yearly reunion in Severna Park. We've stayed at different locations each year; Jean's home was the most comfortable, well equipped, and in the best location. A 20- minute drive and we were in the beautiful town of Annapolis. So many restaurants, stunning historic houses. Our Naval Academy riding tour with a great driver/guide was wonderful. After a day sightseeing, we looked forward to sitting on the new dock at Jean's or having a meal on the screened porch, relaxing, enjoying eachother and the truly beautiful surroundings.

A beautiful amazing home. Spectacular! We loved finding all the little special decor, spaces, etc. it’s a real treasure and has a lot of space to relax inside and outside. The view is amazing. We hope to visit again.

We have stayed in Manhattan Beach several times and the house is by far our favorite! The two porches were one of our favorite features. The screened porch off the main level was roomy and we ate every meal there. The 2nd floor porch was a perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee and for those of us who had to work. You can’t beat the view from either porch, especially the sunrises. The house is very well equipped. We used the kayaks, canoes, and floats every day and appreciated the huge umbrella on the dock. The kitchen had every plate, dish, appliance and utensil we could have needed! There were also lots of lawn games and board games which would have been perfect for a rainy day...but we thankfully never had one!Even though it was less than an hour from our Baltimore home, it was the perfect get-away!
