Posada de Pedreña

It s a lovely traditional property. Beautiful lace curtains adorned the windows. Charming original features such as light fittings were in place. The host was very pleasant. Breakfast was a great selection of all kinds if food with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice to go with. We breakfasted in the little garden.

We arrived in Predeña by little ferry (lovely journey) there are no taxi's so we walked with our bags ...it was quite an uphill trek. The photographs made it look like the property was a bit more rural or at least not on a main road which it was and it could be quite noisy. Once we got over that though we loved our stay.

Liked the old feel of the place. Lovely old building.

Little bit out of the way. Would have liked if there were meshes on the windows. Had to leave mine open and got a nice few mozzie bites during the night.

The breakfast was buffet style, the gentleman brought us coffee and hot milk with orange juice plus toast. Everything else was on the dinning table with a good selection to choose from, including Tortilla, cold meats, cake etc. The Posada was furnished in an old world style but tastefully done, with some modern touches.

Because the weather was fine, it was ok to sit outside if it was dry under a canopy, but the tables were quite close. A couple were chain smoking as people were having breakfast, would have preferred it that they go to a designated area away from people eating, especially if someone has breathing problems eg me, who has asma.

Regrettable - nothing, the view on the webpage is “coloured”, in the other words, mentioned details of the facility and room are present but in different qualities and/or condition.

Staring from extremely small parking where You have to block other cars or have blocked Your own, breakfast begun at 9 a.m. only what unable me to have it, lack of possibility to make even cup of coffee before leaving the hotel to work as there are no kettles and coffee sets in the room, lack of any table in the room, terrible locks of both windows (bedroom and bathroom), even if You succeed to open the one in bedroom, heavy traffic of driving cars until - at least midnight - makes Your rest uncomfortable, if You keep the windows closed - there is no air to breath in very small room no.10 at the attic floor….
