The views were amazing and the staff was very good
It was very old and it looked like it had a makeover but the general communal areas were dirty the breakfast wasn’t the best and we weren’t pre warned about the lighthouse’s fog horn which went off every 30 seconds for roughly four hours from midnight onwards!!!!! The fallowfield restaurant was fantastic !!!! However I do feel that the accommodation doesn’t warrant the price !!!

A beautiful location, stunning views from coastal view rooms, snug and restaurant. Staff were friendly, welcoming, polite and attentive.
Food was lovely and a special occasion brought a birthday card from the hotel.
Jess on reception was so lovely and super friendly, always had a smile and made our stay a pleasure.
Ingrid and Dillon and the restaurant staff, were welcoming, friendly and looked after us well. The chef was very helpful with dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble.
The room was on the small side but with a beautiful view, and nice decor of a simple clean style it was all we needed for two.
We knew the shower room was in need of an upgrade that is due to happen soon but it was clean and all you need.

It’s a great location. The young woman on the front desk with dark hair was absolutely amazing. She was very understanding, listened to our concerns and did her best to help us. We felt heard.
We booked a room on booking.com which had a panoramic view. On arrival we were placed in a small room looking over a dirty flat roof. There was no view from the bed. The bath was chipped and the bathroom just generally tired. We paid for the expensive meal and that was disappointing. Not bad but just not worth the price. The breakfast was also very ordinary considering the price. There was a shortage of plates and we had to ask for croissants because there were none out when we arrived and when we asked we were told they would have to check. All in all it feels like it is trading on its location and the booking is misleading. It is also all over priced in my opinion
