Cèdre Beaune, A Beauvallon Hotel & Spa

The hotel itself is beautiful, historic and very comfortable. We were upgraded on a complimentary basis because it was my husband’s birthday to a junior suite! The hotel gave us a free bottle of champagne and a desert from them. This was very kind and made our stay so special. The suite was spacious and comfortable. There was a record player in the room! We had dinner at their Michelin star restaurant which was a set menu and had 12 courses. It was incredible and I would definitely recommend it. We had a massage and facial at their spa which was relaxing. The location is good. It’s away from the tourist areas but not too far.

The breakfast was okay. The spa treatments we had namely a massage and facial was okay.

It was in a good location We did have a great time on the 150 year celebration The spa staff were excellent It was clean Most of the staff were nice Good pillows Liked the included drinks in the room

There was no outdoor space to have a picnic of our own Or have our own wine we purchased from vineyards

Excellent property…a true 5 star

Spa doesn’t stay open long enough …closed at 5pm on Sunday after a long day exploring/wine tasting wanted to come back to sauna and spa…Nope!

Loved location, good facilities for dog (but charge €60 for 2 nights), on site parking good (but again €60 for 2 nights), bar area is lovely with open fire but can get full as small.

Beds hard and we both had back ache. Quilt and pillows poor quality. Restaurant had no atmosphere. Expected more sophistication but more like a cafe with 3 Of the 6 mains being hotdog, burger, or croque monsieur. Even so my choice not available. Zero atmosphere and lighting terrible. It’s basically in the breakfast area and no change for dinner. Little laminated menus. Note: the Michelin restaurant was closed which we knew and expected the alternate to be of lower lever but at least to have some substance and was not what we expected.
