Leonardo Boutique Hotel Budapest M-Square

Good hotel and everything to do is on your door step. Staff were professional and cleaning attendants did an amazing job with ensuring the rooms was always organised and clean. Stayed on floor 7 with the terrace and it was huge. Not much of a view but still nice to sit down and relax.

There was an issue with the piping in my room. Every time me or my neighbours went to have a shower, wash hands or go to the toilet, the pipes would make an aggressive banging sound like as if someone was knocking on my wall. When I googled it, apparently this is common in older buildings and it due to the pressure building up and popping. It can be oiled and fixed so someone need to look at that. It was hard to sleep some nights due to the constant noise of the pipes. Also there was a weird smell lingering in the lift and sometimes I could smell it in my room. It smelt like rubbish burning. Both matter definitely need to be looked at.

Close to everything

Some of the maintenance is done poorly

very friendly, good location, good breakfast, great room, good aircon and spacious clean bathroom

location is exelent. center of the city. close to all destinations + restaurants.

the room is too small. not even a place to open a suitcase , as a couple with two suitcases + few bags. we had to use all the floor spce and jump between them. since it was one sort night. it was kind of OK. but at this price. not a good value for money.
