Hellidon Lakes Hotel

A beautiful hotel in lovely settings.

Damn hard to find especially as phone signals not good in the area.

I attended a function for 38 people and this followed the same gathering two years earlier. Two years ago the hotel was hosting too many functions and service suffered badly. I had discussed this with the hotel prior to booking, pointed out the issues and I have to say that this year was so much better.....we had a great time. The food was so much better and the improvement in service was really special. Some of us took advantage of the 10-pin bowling which is a great way to start such an event. A few played golf and enjoyed it. My shower was powerful and breakfast was excellent. My interactions with the staff were all positive especially with Marion Connell and the young lady on Reception when we all started arriving on the afternoon of Friday 2 October.
