Esplanade Hotel Fremantle - by Rydges

The hotel is in a great location, close to everything Fremantle has to offer. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfy. Nice pool area too

The bar closed at 9pm on a Saturday night.

My room was on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. Room was a great size. Nice and quiet which is what I needed as I had come from a hospital stay. Bed was comfortable. Fantastic hot shower with great water pressure. I had room service for dinner which was excellent, food and service.

3pm check in as I was recovering from a hospital stay. Staff were very kind though. Perhaps I should have asked for an earlier check in. Everything else was fine - power points on the skirting boards were a little hard for me to access.

The Esplanade hotel is in a great location, Easy walk to the associated carpark ($30 overnight), to the markets, foreshore and to the wharf. Breakfast was good.

A large event had taken place and the walkways and reception were full of people who had checked out but were still hanging about. Many sleeping on the pool lounges, drinking Kava and eating pizza in the walk ways from the elevator to the pool. Lots of mess about. Also given a room already allocated to somebody else, suitcases still inside. The shower had a lot of mould around the bottom Room service trays were left in the corridors over night and were still there at 11 am checkout.

Location is amazing and the room itself was clean staff friendly
