The staff were lovely and helpful the location was great - 4 on Varneys is close to all of the Cape Town highlights including Table Mountain. There are bars and restaurants close by, as well as a huge variety of options at the V&A. Accommodation here was spacious and clean, with a good breakfast on offer too. All in all, a great place to stay.

Very kind and helpful staff. Large room with comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Perfect location. At walking distance from the WF and if the sea side walk.
Perfect to visit Cape town.
Poor internet in the evening. Currently sone street work going on making the place noisy during working hours …. But what can we do?!

Perfect location for attending a rugby match at the Statium. Plenty of restaurants a few minutes walk away. Honesty bar well stocked with drinks and snacks. Was very happy to have a smoking balcony outside my room away from guests.
There is a bit of noise due to nearby construction work plus due to the age of the building you can hear people walking around in their rooms but possibly this adds to the charm. I'll stay there again if ever attending another event. Breakfast is varied and was delicious.

This is a lovely little place to stay in Cape Town. Everything you want to explore is a short über away. The staff and owners are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delicious. It could be a bit chilly in the evening in winter! The heated mattress warmers were a nice touch.
