Tropitel Dahab Oasis

​Location & Vibe: A very cozy and intimate hotel located right on the beachfront. Everything is close by and convenient. ​Beach & Sea: Excellent, peaceful beach with no noisy music. Sun loungers are wooden with comfortable mattresses. Bathing is only allowed from the pontoon (worth keeping in mind), but the pontoon is fixed and very comfortable. The reef is impressive, making it a fantastic spot for those who enjoy swimming and snorkeling. ​Atmosphere & Entertainment: Very family-friendly and cozy feel. The pool is located right near the sea. The animation program is soft and unobtrusive—practically silent, though activities are available for those who wish to join. ​Service: Great, personalized service. The staff is attentive, remembers what you like to drink, and makes you feel welcome. ​Spa: Special mention to the spa—it is very decent, reasonably priced, with skilled massage therapists and excellent overall service. ​Food & Drinks: The food is tasty and simple—don't expect luxury gourmet dining, but the regular meat and fish dishes are very well-prepared and delicious. (Note: I didn't try the alcohol, so I cannot comment on it).

​Beach Maintenance: The biggest downside for me was that the beach area is quite neglected. While the natural beach itself is wonderful, it lacks proper upkeep—you can find old plastic cups and cigarette butts lying around. The sun loungers are never rearranged or cleared, and overall the beach area isn't kept as clean as it should be for such a great location. ​Slippery & Dark Hallways: The indoor corridors are rather dark. More importantly, the tiled ramps/slopes inside the building are very slippery. Since the hotel attracts many elderly guests, this poses a real safety hazard, and management should definitely address it before someone falls and gets hurt. ​Housekeeping Timing: Housekeeping often comes quite late in the day, sometimes around lunchtime. It would be much better if rooms were cleaned in the morning during breakfast so you can return to a clean room to rest after lunch (though this might be negotiable with the staff). ​Overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, and I generally enjoyed my stay!

Engy is an angel. Always smiling and helpful.

The property is on a barrier reef. You can spend hours snorkeling in the water. The sea is super clean, no need to book a tour for surroundings as you have everything you need.

It depends on expectations. Some things are a bit run down: pool area, bathrooms. However the location is excellent and we were so happy to have chosen this hotel for it’s snorkeling
