Beautiful, peaceful location.

The pod was very cold at night but the barn facilities we’re excellent

Great staff, and great location. The room itself was everything we needed and we felt very welcome!

The shower didn’t go all the way to warm

I stayed in the mews, a separate building just outside the main site. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. the staff were friendly and helpful. the kitchen was handy for preparing meals which I used. The social areas are large and comfortable. All in all I had a pleasant stay.

Two completely separate things. 1. My room did smell quite musty. I didn't bother complaining about it as it was just a very typical YH kind of smell. Nothing too bad. 2. I arrived in an EV. It would have been handy to utilise the charging point, but it was one of those where you have to bring your own cable, then download the app, then open an account etc. I would have done all this had I known, but I was hoping it was going to be one of those that you find at service stations. ( I should have double checked before setting off I suppose.) FYI it was pod point.

Land pod was spacious, quiet and warm enough for the time of year with thick duvets.

The area around the Land pod has been neglected and is overgrown. The facilities for the land pods and teepee tent do not include a wash hand basin, so one is expected to wash hands after the toilet in the Belfast sink in the kitchen area , also shaving for the men. This is not acceptable as it is a cooking facility for so many campers.
