Amed Cafe & Hotel Kebun Wayan

Everything was wonderful from check-in to check-out ! This is a beautiful old style Balinese hotel . 2 swimming pools , and the grounds are lovely.The staff was fantastic and everybody I encountered had big smiles on their face. Hotel is across the street from the beach (where the restaurant is) . You can rent full snorkel gear for around 50k idr , and snorkel right off the beach behind restaurant . Most beautiful fish I’ve ever seen , and plenty of turtles too ! I would definitely stay at this hotel in Amed again ! Rupiani and Suni at the front desk were amazing 😊

Door to the bathroom was old,like aluminum type door that could be replaced,but that’s a small thing .

My room ‘Puri Kusambi 2’ was spacious, big balcony and amazing view. The location is great right in between of Jameluk bay and the Main Street with food and drinks. Huge swimming pool! And another smaller one.

Generally Outdated although everything works. Breafast can improve.

I loved the view. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed using the pools. I walk a lot and everywhere I needed to go was well within comfortable walking distance. The property was clean.

The Cafe and Hotel occupy property on both sides of the road. My driver did not know this and left me with no direction on the wrong side of the road. I lifted my suitcase over a wall and up a step before someone told me I needed to cross the street. Better signage would be good. The Reception sign is hidden and I don't recall a hotel sign over that particular entrance.

Place at the beach is nice. Good snorkeling here.

Our accommodation was next to the road. Very noisy, you needed earplugs to get some sleep. Accommodation also very outdated.
