We had an incredibly special few days at Hoyo Hoyo. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness. They really do their best to make sure every detail is thought out. We were so grateful for Suitboy and will always remmeber the incredible sightings we saw with him. Would highly recommend.
Nothing!

We had an incredible 4-night stay at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge. The hospitality was warm, the food was delicious, and the game drives were world-class.
A massive shout-out to Given, whose exceptional care, attention to detail, and warmth truly made our trip special—he went above and beyond for us every day. Equal thanks to Suitboy, our guide, whose deep knowledge and tracking skills made every safari unforgettable.
If you want an authentic, intimate, and magical Kruger safari, Hoyo Hoyo is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back!

The lack of indoor shower (during winter), do have indoor bathtub though.

The staff is wonderful, food is fabulous. Very beautiful property. Safari drives are wonderful.
For $1000USD a night I would have appreciated a room that didn’t flood every time you take a shower. This was VERY disappointing to learn this is a known issue and they continue to book people into this room.
