Founda Gardens Apartments

I think if I were to buy an apartment in the Brisbane area, this is the sort of property I would be looking for. It was within 1km of the ferry, bus, and train. It had views over the river and the city. It had an amazing floor plan, I would be nitpicking to find faults with it. It had all the amenities that I required, and the cupboards were stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals and eat. Bell, the manager, was able to accommodate our late arrival, and he was able to help with everything I asked of him.

The only fault I found was the screen doors out to the balconies. A couple of the doors had no screens, and one had a screen that you had a little trouble opening. The main doors we used had no screens, so we just left them open whilst we were there to let the breeze in and had them shut for the rest of the time.

Location and the service and cleanliness

Ideal for a family - 3 bedrooms- 1 queen (with ensuite) and the other two rooms having 2 singles in each. Washing machine and clothes dryer also makes travel with a family easier. I also appreciated that the property had a bath, as younger children prefer that over a shower. Very convenient location - bus and ferry stops within a short walk of the property, only a few stops from Southbank and CBD. Comfortable lounges and TV with Netflix.

Not much to complain about! Although the property sleeps 6, there were only 4 bowls, and most of them were chipped. A new set of bowls would be an easy fix! I would also suggest a set of plastic or melamine plates/bowls/cups for use by children. The lock on the main bedroom door does not work.

Small bed. Average location. Not enough info on location of restaurants and services in close proximity.
