Room was ok

all the meals we ate were very good. The service and staff were attentative, polite, helpful and extremely welcoming. the room was smaller than expected but lacked some attention to detail,

the windows externally had not been cleaned for a long while, the door handle to the bathroom was broken and the lock to the door could not be operated with the fittings that were installed. the paintwork to the skirting adjacent to the shower was peeling. We left a note with reception to this effect. this however did not spoil our stay but consider the cost of the room these elements should not happen and were avoidable. a chair in the room would have been nice.

Beautiful Building in fantastic surroundings

Weather was great but no opportunity to eg eat breakfast outside. Facilities in room limited eg no coffee machine no fridge. Coffee at breakfast just terrible. Not seen a real coffee bean. At this price point I expect real coffee.
