Ryebrook House

Ryebrook House was excellent for our 3 night stay. Parking on site, a comfortable room, and an excellent breakfast The standout was our host Mary, who was very welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in our daily activity choices. Mary kept the house and our room spotless with a daily refresh of towels.

Nothing! Everything spotless and flawless. Couldn't fault at all.

The bedroom was exceptionally clean. Bathroom had a good shower and looked very new. No mould. Breakfast was excellent and a friendly welcome. Would definitely recommend to other guests.

I checked in on 29 Sept 2026 and went swimming in the sea at Inch beach on 30 Sept 2026 . It was not massively cold at this time of year but the radiators were only on very low for a short period of time. So I struggled to dry off my wet-suit and swimming shorts. However overall this bed and breakfast was excellent.

Mary made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and we had a very enjoyable stay.

Very clean, well organised and well maintained. Good value for money in Killarney. Really close to National Park. The fruit and pancakes option for breakfast.

Tiny room with nowhere to sit except the beds. Towels were small and thin, and no hand towels for face or hair. Overhead shower hard to operate. Felt like an old-fashioned guest house where there were lots of rules, including choosing breakfast the morning before. No offer of alternatives for dietary needs. ( Lactose intolerant). Too far to walk into town and town was too busy to park even in the evening. There was only one place nearby to eat, which was pretty good. Only space for two cars to park. Street parking is not easy as other residents are also street parking.
