InterContinental Chengdu Global Center by IHG

Some of the staff were very nice and helpful, but some also quiet nervous with foreigner guests maybe cause they can't speak english. It’s an old hotel, but they maintain it very well.

The hotel is located quite far from the city center. I actually came to this hotel for the Water park and Paradise Island, but when we arrived, they were closed. We were very disappointed. Otherwise, we would certainly be very satisfied.

Spacious

Staff at the counter did not handle me well

The Intercontinental Hotel is unusual to the other ones I have stayed in. The suite we stayed in was very big and very well done in a typical Interncontinental luxurious style. Decor is nice but falls short of functionaliy.

The Intercontinental Hotel is unusual to the other ones I have stayed in. They could have focused on functionaliy a bit more. Other support services for international toursits is very poor. Great hotel for local tourists. Food, language, services and staff are not geared towards anyone who is not Chinese. Maybe not a good recommendation for international tourists. Its located in the "Global Center" when it should be called local center. Not value for the money we paid.
