Great location, beautiful old house, lovely decoration.

No information on the house (breakfast and checkout times, wifi password, etc.) inside of the room, and instead of a small reception to go to the manager knocks on your door minutes after your arrival (which required typing in a code on three different doors) with the basic information delivered orally - in the hallway by the entrance, because the formerly big room was visibly divided into at least two and therefore not big enough for three adults to stand in. Although the house seemed pretty empty, they have put us in a room on the ground floor where the only window opened towards the garden exit at 36 degrees celsius without air conditioning, meaning: we HAD to leave it open to survive but be careful to not leave anything in reach of the window or it could have been taken by anyone passing by, including curious animals I guess. The way it was constructed, all of them could have as well just climbed in. I rarely feel unsafe in a ho(s)tel/bnb, but this was one of those times. And yes, we knew there was no a/c and that is absolutely fine - we don't have that at home either. But: Would it be so hard to buy a fan that is both effective and quiet? Above level 1 it got so loud it was impossible to sleep. Which is why we had to leave it there and additionally open the window. And still couldn't sleep. The room was spotless clean, but everything else would freak out any germaphobe - sorry. I ate my smashed croissant and left the common area and villa asap. One night as a quiet stopover was the plan, turned out to become a small nightmare.
