Hotel Catedral Plaza

Central location. Clean. Comfortable bed. The pool area was small but very nice — great views. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Nothing in particular comes to mind. I noticed that some rooms opened onto the interior. Be mindful of that when booking. I was glad to have a room with windows that offered an external view.

The location was handy and the room was clean and couldn't hear the noise from the street. Laundry facility was handy and the front desk were helpful.

The food was poor, the room lacked some basics like offering a bottle of water considering you can't use the tap water, the safe didn't work and the pool area was half under maintenance and half quite run down, not like the pictures show.

The pool and restaurant terrace had an incredible view! The staff were all so nice and helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning and restaurant/bar staff. The inside of the hotel has cool decor and was clean and easy to get around. Front desk helped us plan things to do and get us taxis. I have traveled a lot and this felt like a more upscale hostel - easy to get in and out of, right in the middle of town. Vibes on the terrace were cool in the morning and at night. Bar was open late and served good strong drinks.

Food at the restaurant wasn't really impressive. Breakfast wasn't much but it was okay. Location of the hotel is a little odd- it's right in the middle of town, it does not feel like a tourist center or resort area at all. No problem with me, if you have been in Latin America outside of Americanized zones it's nothing crazy. It's not sketchy. But if you're expecting an Americanized resort area you will be surprised when you get to the front door. Shower wasn't very hot.

Decor was really updated the staff was nice.the location was in the middle of everything. Oh breakfast was not that good either I'm American we like our food hot not Luke warm.

Very noisy from the wind,the doors slamming. The water is cold in the morning,but hot at night. Booking.com has the description of the rooms wrong there is no pool view no one can get that because the pool is on the roof. My view was of a stairwell. So views from the room are not good
