San Pietro Hotel & Restaurant

I liked the decor, the bed was comfortable, room layout was well thought out (room102). Staff were lovely. Only had the included continental breakfast, and it was fine. Only minus point is that the restaurant used for breakfast is in the building next door, but at least it stops lazy customers going for breakfast in their jimjams or nightgown 😀

Nothing, it was all good

Staff were very attentive. There room had everything you needed and was extremely cosy. Breakfast was lovely.

There wasn’t really anything

Great size room and bed was very big and comfortable. Very modern decor. Good Internet and amenities. Great toiletries. Lighting was a little dark over the mirror areas for hairdrying , make up etc. Breakfast was good but not replenished when items were low. Cooked breakfast, for an extra charge, was good too. Staff were extremely helpful but busy because not enough to cover on Friday due to a large function taking place.

Tiny bathroom area for toilet, a larger person would struggle to use it comfortably. No where to hang used towels, yes the heated towel rail was there, but nowhere to hang long to dry off. Not enough hangers in the wardrobe, plenty of storage for folded clothes etc. The hotel was hosting a wedding when we checked in and the receptionist was running back and forth to resturant, reception and venue. When we wanted a drink later in the bar staff had to ask other staff if that was OK and then issues with paying no-one knew how to take cash! There wasn't enough staff on the Friday night working customers from the wedding were at the bar, restaurant customer were also waiting to be seated and drinkers in the bar were not being served! Think that night, Friday, you took on far to much and not enough staff to manage it! Saturday was a different story, lots of staff and not many customers....no wedding on that day/night!

Lovely room

Paid £130 for 2 people, only 1 bath towel and 1 bath robe. Hardly any toilet roll, had to go out and buy more. Was an adjoining door onto another room that was locked don’t get me wrong, but you could hear them talking and shouting. Not what I wanted for a night of piece. Also the hotel pre authorised £100 on your card in case you go to the restaurant, in my case I didn’t use the restaurant but took over 7 days for it to be put back on my card! Will not stay here again
