A Suite Spot in the Hills

Beautiful gardens provided privacy with a leafy aspect. The room was nicely decorated and our host provided fresh flowers. We were welcomed and invited to join our host for a delicious barista coffee each morning. We had scooters that she kindly allowed us to store in her garage. Short walk to the transport hub if you want to catch public transport into the city. Mt Barker has tasty restaurant options.

Not that it was our host fault but the weather wasn't kind for riding on scooters. A good reason to return to this beautiful part of Australia

Location was great for where I was working. Breakfast was very good and generous in quality & quantity, including bonus 'barista' coffee. Room was very clean and easily accessible (with separate, secure access).

Only very minor things. Microwave dish was a bit wonky. Not much room for clothes storage/hanging (especially for a couple), but OK for a single/short stay.

The garden and location and quiet. Very accommodating last minute

Bigger fridge. A TV would be good too

Not as advertised No TV or radio As there’s no TV Radio all sounds within the house were easily heard. No BBQ No Wifi (internet only, cables required) No smoke alarm within the studio which is illegal! No electric blanket no control of temperature, room is a ducted room within house with no control. No washing machine No coffee machine 1 only wine glass, mismatched cutlery. Zero privacy! Room access opens onto toilet(glass door no blinds, curtains or frosted glass) We had to lock all valuables in our car during the day as room couldn’t be locked when outside, locked side gate doesn’t secure the accomodation. Poor lighting of egress down path at night as there’s steps to navigate. We used phone light to use side gate pin-code. Owner accessed the room while we were out tuned on internal room lights…… Bed is a small bed No bedside tables
