Emplacement face au lac, chambre spacieuse avec une belle vue sur le lac

On est loin du boutique hôtel et plus proche de l’usine a touriste. Cela manque d’âme surtout en arrivant d’un hôtel à taille plus humaine à Lijiang. Besoin de la voiture pour tous les déplacements, même pour sortir manger (à moins de se faire livrer). Et sortir de l’hôtel à pied nécessitait de traverses la 2x2 voies devant au péril de sa vie. Point désagréable de la chambre on a eu froid en plein mois d’août, impossible de régler la température

The room was completely delightful - perfect for a family with very young children. The beds were comfortable and fitted us in. The table was a great place for my 4 year old to colour. The sofas gave us somewhere to go when we didn't want to sit on a bed. The bathroom was outstanding. Really beautiful and perfectly functional. The faucets/taps were like water features. The marble floors were so nice. The toilet was kept away from the bath/shower/sink - so hygienic. The view from beside the elevator was tremendous. The swimming pool was fabulous with a hot tub-type area and a heated toddler pool, which my young children enjoyed. We went to the pool every day for the 5 days we were here. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever seen and we tried both the a-la-carte and buffet dinner options, and found both to be fantastic (but preferred the buffet). The dinner buffet again was one of the best I've ever experienced (and I've stayed in some very high-end places).

The level of English amongst staff wasn't what I expected from the listing saying "English spoken here" but that was a minor niggle and hopefully I'll speak more Chinese if/when we come again. Staff were ALWAYS friendly and positive but I wished they had tried to speak Chinese to me instead of reaching immediately for an app as I do understand some. The gym needs a rowing machine and kettle bells to make it more well-rounded and this would be a quick improvement.
