Great location. Lovely pub downstairs with lovely food. Big room with lovely generous huge great curtains.

We were told that the door between the hotel and the Chinese takeaway/restaurant “ was always locked for security reasons”. However it was always open and right next to our room, making us feel quite insecure, in our experience. The shower was a nightmare to operate. The housekeeper knocked us up at 8.45 in the morning , checking our needs,which was not welcome( there’s no ‘do not disturb’ sign available). The parking was a total nightmare… the meter only took cash or an app I didn’t have( I had uk version and couldn’t download the Irish version). We couldn’t forward book our overnight stay, didn’t have cash then a helpful staff member told us where to park for free, at the back. This was useful info and we wished we’d been told this when we checked in, but we weren’t. I’m always nervous of any hotel that does not have staff on the premises overnight, in case there’s a problem. A phone number does not reassure me I’m afraid.

Access to the rooms is poor due to many stairs and no lift

Very comfortable beds and pillows and quiet, good location although a strange set up where accommodation located.

Very dark road at night leading down to location. What really frustrated us was the fact there was no socket near the only mirror in room to use hairdryer,i had to use my compact to try and dry my hair which was unacceptable, we were in room A no.9. Also it should be made clearer on website that parking at rear of accommodation is monitored by APCOA and if you don't pay for overnight rate you will be clamped, several people had difficulty using app including my sister and the next morning 4 cars had been clamped.
