Great location and facilities, wood burning fire, car parking. Provides some hygiene essentials if you've forgotten. Friendly host.
Check-in is relatively late (5pm).
The showers were quite small, with limited room to change without getting clothes wet.

The hostel was in a great location, very close to the city center and the train and bus stations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The bathrooms were quite small, with very little space to change. Guests were advised to use a specific bathroom that had hot water, which fortunately I was able to use without any issues.
Also, there were very few power outlets in the room, so we ended up plugging extension cords into other extension cords, which can be a safety concern. It would be great to have more power outlets available in the rooms.

Breakfast was good and kitchen was well equipped.
Many taps were dripping and felt many areas needed a deep clean!
Only l shower was working properly.
Some of the window panes were missing or broken in the large hallway window.
