Crown Hotel Brackley

Breakfasts (2). Very comprehensive continental on first morning. V Full English second morning. Both set me up for full days of house hunting. Room. Old Coaching Inn. Did not expect luxury but liked the Old World charm. Bed very comfortable. Good shower & lots of space.

We stayed one night to attend a friends celebration at Brackley Town Football Club. The hotel is just a short walk away from the football ground. The hotel is conveniently situated on Brackley high street opposite the pretty square The room was large, bright, comfortable and clean. The little cosy bar is very pleasant. There is no lift so rooms are up a flight of stairs. Eddie carried our small bags. Staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating. It is an old building so facilities are basic. The offering for the continential breakfast exceeded expectations. Cereal, a varity of fresh fruit, cheeses, meats and pastries. We had a lovely relaxing breakfast. All in all a very pleasant stay thank you.

The location is excellent and the village is lovely. Staff made an error with our booking that was rectified quickly.

The rooms were very dirty. We were asked to pay an extra £20 for our dog which felt like an insult given how dirty the carpets were in our rooms. My son dropped a toy and ended up picking up someone’s old contact lens.
