Eslington Manor

The staff were fabulous from start to finish. Michelle on reception, Michael in the kitchen and Danny on breakfast all went above and beyond to welcome and make are stay comfortable and friendly. The gardens, location and setting was lovely, very tranquil place to recharge, and the food was delicious, lovely breakfast especially the egg menu.

Reacurring problems with WiFi.

Very friendly welcoming staff, great location (just off the motorway) but surprisingly quiet with room overlooking extensive beautiful gardens. Large comfortable room with recently refurbished bathroom.

Nothing I didn’t like, but I think a nonslip mat in the shower/bathroom area would be helpful.

The hotel itself is very nice but due to a wedding taking place, getting a night's sleep before 23.45 was impossible. Our room was over the lounge and the music was blasting out, so I went down to ask for it to be turned down, but the reply was "there is a wedding on, what do you want me to do?. As a paying guest, I expect to informed if there was to be a wedding on which could affect my sleep, as many other hotels do, allowing you to cancel the booking if you are not happy. I very much wanted to like this hotel, as it is very close to the relatives we were visiting and wanted to make it a regular stay, but not sure now.

The music was started again at 06.45 am in the hotel, and once again it was loud in our room. When we went to breakfast, we had to ask for the volume to be reduced, as we couldn't hear our friends talking. Why do hotels think that loud music is always required.
