Vila Gale Porto - Centro

Very nice location. You can easily take metro to and from airport. The station is within 5 mins walking distance. You have all other metro lines. One of the not so many tall buildings. You can see the sea from one side and Duoro river and Lapa church from the other side. The swimming pool has a even better view. You can sit by the pool and watch sunset. Breakfast is good.

The beds in the hotel are one of the worst during recent years. In The first room I stayed, one of the 2 beds made extremely loud noise when the person moved the slightest bit. After I complained about the bed, the front desk told me they would send someone to have a look at it. I don’t know if anything happened. The bed was still noisy. After the second night, I got another room. It was finally sleepable. The elevators were very busy/slow.

Room was clean and tidy and with all amenities working. Close to center.

Breakfast was same for all 5 days , with very less option for vegeterian , with no chicken option. I liked it but if some small changes which can help for guest staying long.

Access, excellent service

breakfast was good, I particularly like Páo de Mafra and all the fresh juices. Staff was friendly and helpful, particularly the staff at breakfast. Good location.

Carpets at the hallways and inside the room with stains, not ok for a 4 star hotel. Room was a lot smaller than an equivalent room that I stayed in Vila Galé in Coimbra. Did not like the botoom of the swiming pool with many riples (enrrugado).
