Breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful!
Will be nice for the hotel once the construction in front is concluded. But, that is not the fault of the hotel obviously.

The building and decor was beautiful, staff very pleasant, helpful and efficient
They didn’t tell me about the construction noise until a day before I arrived, which was too late to cancel. Also the restaurant activity across the street was noisy until late and people smoking cigarettes all the time meant I couldn’t leave the windows opened.

Nice place on the river. What a great view. A good combination of old world charm and modern convenience. Both very good for business and for leisure stays. Very close to Basel city centre. Make sure you book a river view room. Very comfortable. Good breakfast buffet.
For late summer nights, it would be nice to have a choice between just a sheet and a very warm duvet.

LOcation and very friendly stuff
Bad rooms, small bathrooms, shower cabin extremly small, washing sink extremly small, when you wash your face all the water ends on the floor, dirty and old floor in the rooms, this is definetely not a 4 star hotel....... too expensive for so little.....
