Hotel des Arceaux

Great hotel, comfortable and well located, with fantastic staff.

It would be good to have coffee in the rooms.

Great for the money, nice garden, staff were really friendly and building looked lovely. Organic soap bars

Breakfast was pre prepped based on options, didn’t feel like value for money

The location, cleanliness and kindness of the staff.

Nothing!

Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient, and any queries we had in the course of our stay were dealt with very promptly and pleasantly. Our room was small but adequate with a view over the garden. Location was excellent - just outside the old city. Unfortunately our stay coincided with a heatwave so we didn't do as much sightseeing as planned but the lovely shady garden was a perfect refuge - and a leisurely breakfast there was a delightful start to the day.

There are steps up to the front door and the stairs to the upper floors (there's no elevator) are quite a pull. We managed, but those with limited mobility would definitely find this a problem.
