Hilton Munich City

The Hilton Munich city is a favourite for me, because the location is ideal, situated in nice neighbourhood Au-Haidausen just outside the City centre. It’s a great place to relax if you want to get away from the busy tourist areas. The hotel has an elevator with direct access to the S-Bahn station next to the hotel, which offers express train services to Munich Airport, Munich Hauptbahnhof & Munich OST-bahnhof with national and international rail services. The city centre is only a couple of stops on the S-Bahn train. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and nicely furnished. I found the bed particularly comfortable and slept well during my stay. The hotel has a bar & restaurant and room service. The is a large car parking garage under the hotel, with access by elevator direct into the hotel lobby. Parking is charged separately. I have stayed here before because it’s very comfortable and accessible, and will stay here again whenever I visit Munich

Nothing, it is perfect for me

The breakfast was very good, lots of options. The location was walking distance to the areas of interest. The train station was extremely convenient and next to the hotel.

The pillows are too flat even with two put together.

Location is amazing - beautiful area of Munich with lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Best of all there is a direct access from the hotel to the U-Bahn station. You can be in the centre of town within 10 Minutes! The Juliet Rose Bar on site has a very cool vibe and is clearly visited by locals as well as hotel guests. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Good size too!

The breakfast restaurant is rather large and lacks atmosphere.

TV reception for British channels poor/non-existent, reception staff not particularly helpful, tip automatically added to drinks purchased in temporary bar without being asked (glass of wine already overpriced), lack of choice on Mona restaurant menu, and no bar snacks on offer.
