JUFA Hotel Salzburg City

Lovely hotel, in a quiet area with no passing traffic but also just a five minute walk from the old town centre with lots to see and a great choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was good with an array of choices both hot and cold from the buffet. The hotel 'manager' who checked us in was helpful and friendly sharing information to assist us during our stay.

Loved it here, just on the edge of the city. Lovely lobby to relax in. Parking for the car. Comfortable rooms.

It Would've been Nice if they acknowledged my mums birthday with a simple gesture.

The staff were very nice, my room was clean and comfortable, the atmosphere downstairs in the lobby area was good and it was close to Salzburg old city. Very nice stay. The curtains in the room are a picture of Salzburg which I think is cool.

Nothing I didn't like.

The receptionist staff at the hotel are all very helpful and if they didn't know an answer then they would go and ask someone who could help. We thought the receptionist staff were very good and very helpful.

When we booked we asked for a room facing the castle and on the highest floor (3rd) and asked again when we checked in, however we were told that our room was facing out towards the mountains and couldn't be changed. Even though they were not full?? Also on the Sunday we where there, we came back from a day out and wanted a drink at the bar to sit outside and watch the sunset behind the fortress the 2 bar staff had disappeared and the reception person couldn't help as they were helping other customers. 20 minutes passed before both bar staff arrived back - where a queue of people were awaiting them. Felt like they didn't care either;. This Hotel proffesses to be a 4 star, but is far from it. With rooms that are smaller than my garden shed and you literally have no room to walk about in the room. I think this hotel needs a bit of a rethink for it to be a real 4 star hotel with quality as it didn't feel like it
