Alp Pasa Hotel - Special Class

Hotel położony perfekcyjnie na starówce. Życie nocne na wyciągnięcie ręki. Jestem tu po raz drugi, poprzednio w cześci hotelowej. Pokój otrzymałam w części Gazetta na plus bo nowa część ( wyremontowany stary budynek). Z okna miałam widok na gwarną uliczkę ( nawet w nocy)- nie lubię ciszy.

Obiadokolację to nie Szwedzki stół w restauracji na zewnątrz budynku ( hotelu) 10 m, a posiłek wybrany ze specjalnej karty - zupa, sałatka ( bez wyboru) i 2 danie wybrane z pośród kilku i 2 zimne napoje . Poprzednim razem byl szwedzki stół Przy basenie hotelowym tam gdzie śniadania - tego mi było brak - przy basenie jest klimat osmańskiej rezydencji, tam ludzie mogą mieszkańcy hotelu porozmawiać, spotkać się, to bardzo na plus. Dla mnie to największy mankament pobytu.

Location was excellent

Room was noisy from the diners below scrapping chairs and could hear running water when others were flushing toilets / showering.

The location of the hotel is very central - especially the quiet inner courtyard has its own atmosphere and separates guests a little from the busyness of the streets.

Noise: Insulation of the rooms is highly questionable. Not only was the music from the old town parties very loud, also the walls and windows of my room were paper thin. Every car or tourist passing in front of my window (I was on the ground floor) was audible, and every conversation that guests or staff had in front of my room in the corridor was also audible. That does not contribute to feeling anywhere safe, especially as a solo traveller. Cleanliness: The room was not as clean as I would have liked. There were lots of hairs and tumbleweeds on the ground when I arrived, as well as some dried contact lenses glued onto the night stand. The staff used the corridor in front of my room as a sort of deposit for large trash bags which stayed for a good day. For some reason they decided to move half of them in the night from Saturday to Sunday at half past midnight, with loud conversation that woke me. Safe: I booked this hotel among others because it supposedly has a safe on every room. Mine didn't. When I insisted that I needed one, they brought a mobile unit into the room. Did not feel safe at all. Food: I had requested upon booking if the hotel could accommodate for glutenfree bread. They confirmed that they would be able to do that and asked if I could remind them a few days prior to my arrival. I did that and they confirmed they had it in their system. On the morning of the first breakfast it turned out that nobody in the kitchen knew about it and they still had to go out and buy some. Once the shops opened. It took them a good hour to get glutenfree bread. The guest relations manager came to me and apologized, justifying the mistake rather than taking accountability or offering me any form of compensation for the mishap. Not a great guest experience. Welcome: The welcome sheet guests receive is full of rules what you are not allowed to do.
