Gillieru Harbour Hotel

The location and view were wonderful. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent!

Everything met our expectations. Breakfast was great. Out room overlooking the pool, and with a sea view was prefect too. Staff were all helpful and always with a smile. Unfortunately not so common nowadays. Location is very good too.

Not of the Hotel's fault, but if are there with your own car parking has to be taken into consideration. If staying over the weekend (especially on Sunday and in Summer) the pool could be rather overcrowded, because it seems that other people, who are not hotel guests are allowed to use the pool. In our case we happened to have a group (not tourists) who were in the pool practical all day, and never seemed to get tired talking (aloud) on what they like to cook and what they do not like, the recipes they do etc. We had to move out of the pool, and also keep our room door balcony closed because of them. ):

Friendly staff and very helpful good location

The only disappointment were bedrooms need updating and we didn’t have balcony which I do enjoy sitting on

Location was lovely and the view across the bay was great.

The air conditioning did not work for 3 out of 4 nights. Opened the doors to get air and the mosquitoes had a field day! We had a room with a hot tub, which was nice but not once did they check the chemicals and it had a film on the water.
