ALMA THERA Boutique Hotel

Great location, close to the main bus stop. Shops & cafes nearby. 5 minute walk to the beach, bars & restaurants. Room was light & balcony with church view, it was cleaned daily, friendly staff.

Bed & pillows were very firm, depends what you prefer. Room very compact, ok for a short stay.

The room was small but clean and well maintained. There was a good range of equipment for such a small space and the layout of the main space was well thought out. The pool was cute and there was plenty of outdoor seating available. The location was good for the local beach and tavernas. The owner/manager was very helpful about organising transfers to and from the airport.

The bathroom was irritating as it was impossible to shower without soaking the whole room, and the hot water took a very long time to come through. The wi fi was a waste of time, it kept going on and off. There was a lot of ambient light filtering through into the room and the neighbour's dog was intermittently noisy during the night.

We arrived in Santorini after having visited Athens and Mykonos. We are so pleased we came to Santorini for 2 reasons; the island is truly breathtaking and stands true to its reputation but what has been for us a travelling gem and no doubt will leave us with very fond memories is our stay at Alma Thera Hotel. Dimitri welcome us at the reception when we arrived. His hospitality and generosity has made our stay here truely magical. Not to mention value for money, our stay here has been filled with laughter and all around good vibes. Indeed, having stayed at many places on our journey what ‘Alma Thera’ has thanks to Dimitri and his team is spirit. You can feel truly at home and welcome here, Dimitri is the most open and welcoming host. Thank You!

Alma Thera Hotel was an excellent choice for our family holiday in Santorini. The hotel is located directly on Perissa Beach, with immediate access to the sea and to the lively beachfront promenade. Along the promenade there are many restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, and convenience stores, so everything needed for a relaxed holiday is within easy walking distance. We travelled with two children, and the hotel suited us extremely well. The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, and very suitable for families, while still feeling calm, elegant, and well maintained. The breakfast is providing just for 12 euro at their another hotel next door and were fresh, varied, and convenient, particularly when travelling with children. The standard of cleanliness deserves particular praise. Our room was consistently clean and carefully maintained, and the same high standard was evident throughout the shared areas. The swimming pool, lobby, corridors, and surrounding spaces were all noticeably clean, orderly, and well cared for. It is clear that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining both the guest rooms and the public areas. The pool was another highlight of our stay. It's a ideal for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. The staff were attentive, friendly, efficient, and consistently made us feel welcome. We also booked a massages, which was one of the most enjoyable experiences of our holiday. The treatment was relaxing, professional, and of a very high standard. It gave us a wonderful opportunity to unwind properly, and the entire experience felt both pleasant and genuinely worthwhile. We are sincerely grateful to the entire team for the care they showed us throughout our stay. Alma Thera Hotel combines an excellent beach location, outstanding cleanliness, good food near, comfortable facilities, a wonderful pool and truly exceptional service. We would happily return and would recommend it without hesitation, especially to families looking for a high quality stay.
