The Highfield Hotel

Lots of free parking. Very helpful (blonde female) receptionist. Large, stylish hotel with attention paid to corridors (books in bookshelves etc). Big clean room. Heated bathroom when activated by staff.

Room cold on arrival. Sagging, creaking mattress. Basic hospitality tray and toiletry supplies: 'body oil' literally contains 1 small teaspoon.

A friendly welcome, A truly fantastic room, And a great location.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel.

Didn't have the takeaway breakfast. No hot options. Location was good.

To say it was a superior double room the furnishings were tired and not matching. No personal touch just felt cold big and empty. Beautiful walk in double shower but a small shower head not powerful. No fridge and no milk in the room to make a drink. Went downstairs as was told there is additional milk in a fridge at reception but that was empty 😳 no staff to ask. Cheap bedding as was sweating all night. 1 sachet of shower gel each no shsmpoo etc...nothing luxurious. That room is so big it could be made to be Beautiful and more enjoyable.
