Loved it. Beautiful setting.

It was completely unexpected, but the wildlife at our front door was absolutely incredible. We've never seen anything like it! The cottage was warm and comfy. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. We used the slow-cooker which was really great to have considering the weather. We didn't use the spa bath, but it was large and looked like it would be great fun. Adventure Bay is a really central location to explore the Island from. The general store is close-by and has a really good range of just about everything you can think of. The retreat is a lovely, private location to relax and enjoy all the wonderful nature Bruny has to offer. We would definitely recommend and definitely book again.

The WiFi didn't work at all for us, but we were able to watch free-to-air. There was only 4 matches and no kindling for the fire (it was raining for our entire stay, so we couldn't collect any ourselves). We were there for 3 nights, so a few more matches would have been good, especially given the wet weather. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

Great location with excellent facilities. We enjoyed the wood heater for a cosy evening. Plenty of wildlife.

The front step was a little deep for older legs. My other challenge was dodging the small black nuggets everywhere.

The location was beautiful and all the nearby wildlife was amazing

It was outdated and furniture is in need of updating. I don’t think it lives up to the high reviews
