B&B I Quattro Poeti

The accommodation was located in a central area in walking distance to many attractions. It was clean and the room was comfortable - also equipped with an AC.

We stayed in the room Tasso and we had a separate bathroom, which was somewhat uncomfortable. Also, there were no vegetables for breakfast, which we would have expected in Italy.

A Firenze room as you would dream it! Location SUPERB! Breakfast super chill.

Be aware there is no elevator. Which was fine for me.

Beautiful place with great service. The Artwork on the ceiling was impressive. Ledia was fantastic nothing was too difficult for her. Breakfast was a great fuel for all the walking we were going to do. The room was clean and spacious. The hot water didn't run out.

I'm sorry to say the pillows were too hard. This stay was fantastic but take into account there are stairs that were hard work for luggage and for hubby who was in crutches.

We stayed five nights at B&B I Quattro Poeti. The location is truly ideal – very central, yet surprisingly quiet. There is even a bus stop right outside the front door. Our room faced the inner courtyard, so we could sleep with the window open at night. The morning sunlight made the room feel bright and pleasant. The bed was comfortable, and overall we slept very well. Every morning, a friendly lady came to set the breakfast tables and prepare toast, pastries, prosciutto, cheese, and various jams and Nutella in the breakfast room. She greeted us each morning with a cheerful “Buongiorno!”

There is no reception desk in the traditional sense. Guests must check in independently via Vikey on their smartphone to receive a door code. Anyone unwilling to do so will probably not be able to book this B&B. The room key is stored in a key box – at first, it feels a bit like an escape game! The bunch of keys was enormous! What we didn’t like so much was the furniture: the small wardrobe couldn’t be properly closed, and most of the furnishings looked rather worn out. There’s a lack of practical storage space and hooks, especially in the bathroom. Towels were only changed once, and the ones we received at check-in were not completely clean – we would recommend bringing your own towels.
