The Lokha Ubud Resort, Villas & SPA

Overall the room quality, pool, spa and food served were stellar. The staff is kind and helpful. A little stream / river flows past the resort and it’s a serene little place to enjoy.

The resort has almost nothing to offer to young kids. We visited the property with our toddler and except the pool - there is literally nothing else. The location also is tricky. The resort is in an area where grab / online taxis can’t come in for a pick up. So getting to any place requires you to hire a private taxi or using the hotel’s shuttle ( available every few hours ). This is what makes local commute very difficult

We loved everything, we wanted to stay longer. Room was lovely, staff were friendly, spa was good, lovely pool, amazing Mexican restaurant

The traffic to get to town can be very hectic. But that’s also a good feature that you away from the chaos of central Ubud

The architecture, the private pool with a jungle view 😍. The service was really good. The spa and all amenities are really good !

The yoga teacher was nice and a fairly comfortable bed.

The pictures are misleading. This is an old (11years) hotel. Lobby is sad. Afternoon tea is a selection of filtered coffee, long life milk and a few sad looking pastries. The room is dated and small. Towels look grey and washed out. The greenery around needs some attention. The kids club is a shoe box with hardly anything inside. Breakfast is mostly catered for Indian guests with limited options and not tasty at all. I mean this cannot be a 5 star hotel. It was disappointing as we came from another 5 star hotel and every part of it just couldn't be compared. Staff are pleasant, but that's all. We wouldn't recommend this for families nor couples. I cannot understand any positive reviews. It's a 3 star max hotel, but definitely not 5.
