The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful. They guided me and gave me confidence to go by bus alone in Cajas Park and Ingapirca. I was even able to cook my breakfast there and they gave me access to their fridge, which was convenient. I felt safe as a solo traveller.

Dogs were allowed and one barked at night, waking me up.

From the moment I made the booking, I had a wonderful experience with the staff at Hostal Casa del Lídice. They kindly reached out in advance to confirm my arrival time and ask whether I needed anything, which was such a thoughtful touch. When I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine kindness, warmth and friendliness — and this excellent level of care continued throughout my entire stay. The daily cleaning was great, and the breakfast… wow! It was absolutely delicious, with a quality and level of service that some 3-star-plus hotels fail to provide. The location is fantastic too: only around a 7-minute walk from the main square and approximately 20 minutes on foot from the bus terminal. I would happily stay here again anytime and highly recommend it!

Shower could be a little bit warmer!
